Why are they more common during pregnancy?
Pregnancy makes you more susceptible to hemorrhoids, expansion of the foot veins and sometimes even occur inside the female genitalia, with a variety of reasons. The development of your uterus puts pressure on the pelvic veins section, and a large vein to the right of the body that receives blood flow from the lower limbs. This can lead to delayed return of blood flow down the middle of your body, thereby increasing the pressure on the veins at the bottom of your uterus and causes them to become more blooms or swelling.

Constipation and other problems during pregnancy, can also cause or aggravate hemorrhoids. This is because straining leads to hemorrhoids, and you tend to strain when having a bowel movement is hard.

In addition, the increase in the hormone progesterone during pregnancy will cause the walls of your veins to relax, so they are easier to swell. Progesterone also causes constipation by inhibition of intestinal disaluran.
